What Was your Profession Before You Retired--Or Your Curent One??

Im always curious as to what People spent there lives doing before they retired---and for those whoa rent retird what are you doing work wise??
My Mother was a CNA--worked for many Yrs ina Local Nursing HOme--She loved the Elderly--I htink thats where i got my passion from--for working with Seniors!!
This is my 27th Yr in this Profession--Now -I travled and did Missions work overseas in the 90's but I began this type of work in 1985---probably 18 Yrs Ive actully been in it though!!
Its challanging what id o--But I is my destiny--its what Ive been called and ordained to do by God--I have no doubts about it!!
I dont beleive in just having a Job--how boring that would be---but when you are fullfilling your Purpose and doing what you were placd here to do--it brings so much fullfiullemnt!!
And many times your job dosent start out being something you enjoy but sometimes after so many YRs you ifnd it really is what you enjoyed doing--in the long run!!
So what i it you are doing or did in the past--and did you find fullfillment in it??

I WISH COUPLES WOULD REALIZE JUST HOW IMPORTANT LIFE INSURANCE IS

I finally got the chance to talk to Janet--after Steves passing last Friday evening---she is doing OK--Of ocurse they knew for over a Year with this cancer he may not make it--but when it finally happens--its still hard!!
He was creamted and his ashes will be spread in a Beautiful place he chose--probably next weekend!!
Shes having to deal with Issues such as selling the house--probate--all those legal things--she is moving back to Western Washington to be near her family ---and having to find work at 63 wont be easy!! Shes always worked--because most couples need 2 incomes in thsi day and age!!
Shes contacted the Previous Hopsital she worked in--in the town where she will move back to--but they ar ebeing bought out bya Huge corporation and she isnt sure they will re hre her at her age--even thoug she worked there for 15 Yrs previously and they really like her and loved the works he did--Office work!!
Steve left her only 30,000 Life insurance---Hmm--Not enough at all---I dont quite understand why they went so low--Life Insurance isnt expensive at all--he should have gone at least 100,000----but this will help pay bills etc!!
Daniel and i have talked greatly about it and we are going 250,000 on him--if he passes and 150,000 on me if i pass--and combined its only about 100.00 a month!!
I know they could have afforded that---hmm--anyway what he left her like is say will help her get over the hump until she finds work!!
Couples need to prepare for things like ths but so many dont want to even hink about the possibility they will die in Middle Age!!
So what are your thoughts on Life Insurance??

Should you take your wedding rings off soon after your spouse dies--or is it OK to keep them on??
My Precious Friend lost her husband 2 days ago--shes asking what she should do---she doent really want to take her ring and band off--yet the vows say--till death do us part!!
Now I beleive IF you never desire to marry again which she dosent--she should never take her rings off!!
I know many Widows who--yrs later still wear there rings---so what do you think??
II told Daniel on the phone the other night when we get married those rings are staying on until they put me in the ground lol
Janet is still Steves wife---even though he has transitioned to his New life--so My thoughts are---wear those rings as long as you feel conmfortable wearing them--maybe forever---dont go by what eveyrone else is doing!!
It was interesting that Janets Dad and Steves Dad died one month ago---one week apart from each other!!
They were able to get Steves Mom over to the house so she could be with him--as he was--crossing over--which I thought was very special!! She is 81 Yrs Old!!
She had 12 kids--Steve has a twin sister!!
Its so hard losing your husband of 63 Yrs and then your son in one month!!

The word givres us so much hope in times like this--Though we sorrow--we dont sorrow as the world does--because we know--To be absent from The body is to be Present with the Lord!!
For the Beleiver there is no death--this earthly tent just ceases to exist--NOW the real Steve is truly living--in the Presence of the Lord!!
His Family are grieving of course--there is a aseason for that--we have all been there--Steve has 12 siblings--so they will surround her with so much love and support right now!!
He ran this earthly Race well--he was a ma of great humour--wisdom and Integrity and was well liked by everyone who knew him!!
Why do such bad things happen to such a Good person--Hmm--I gues we will never know the answer--we live in a fallen world and the rain falls on the just and the unjust--as beleivers we are not immune to sorrow and sadness and pain!!
But we have a Hope that cannot be shaken in the fact we will see our loved oes again--what a day--wonderful day that will be!!

FINDERS KEEPERS???

There was a woman who bought a lottery ticket---the machine told her she WASNT a winner--so she thre the ticket away!!
Then comes the Dumpster Diver lol--who found the ticket--turned it in only to find it was THE winner--one million bucks!!
She spent quite a bit of the money--as any of us would do obviously!!
Now the Lady who orginally bouught the ticket wants her million--and She should get it--The only reason she threw the ticket away was because she didnt think she was a winner!!
The Woman who found the ticket--once she turned it in and saw it was a million dollar winner SHOULD have contacted the lottery commission and said she found the ticket--she wasnt the one who bought it and maybe someone threw it away by accident---IM accountable to God for all my actions so as for me--I would have contacted them knowing someone threw it away by accident---But I know most would have kept it as she did!!
IM sorry but she needs to pay it back--I have no lcue how shes going to do that since she spent most of the money--gave it to her kids--paid off credit card--bought a new truck--ALL the while knowing the ticket wasnt hers in the first place!!
I hope she loses her appeal!! The judge yesterday ruled she owes it to the orginal owner--lets hope the appeals court upholds this decision!!
so--what do you all think??

There was an atheist who lived next door to a Christian Woman and every day she would open herf ront door and Yell out--PRAISE THE LORD--THANK YOU FOR THIS DAY LORD!!
One day he heard her prayng for the Lord to provide Grocerie since she was going through a financial hardship--so he thought he would pull a fast one on her--the next day she opened her door and there were bags and bags of Groceries!!
She Yelled Out--OH THANK YOU LORD FOR THIS WONDERFUL PROVISION--to which the atheist replied--oh I was the one who bought you the Groceries---to which she the yelled out--THANK YU LORD FOR THESE GROCERIES--AND OH YES LORD--THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE ATHEIST--PAY FOR THEM LOL

One is Mr Blago--Boy did that guy deserve to be put somewhere where the sun dont shine and now--John Edwards---Get ready Oh--Mr Family Values Guy--all the while cheating on your wife when she had cancer --guy--you hun are going away for a very long time!!
Will Riella Hunter Testify--I think she will--did he use campaighn funds to silence her--Yup lol
Andrew Youngs Testimony nailed the coffin there!!
IM sad Elizabeth is Gone but I think its best--she wouldnt have wanted to go thru the embarrassment of this trial---while Johns ex mistress is testifying about there relationship!!
I guess its time to clean house--Hmm--watch out Eric Holder--I think your going down next!!

Lets see--her ratings on her new network are in the dumps--this woman dosent ever want to be on the bottom for anything lol
So--suddenly she embraces her Christianity--oh yes--all the while keeping in tact her New Age beliefs---dont want to offend Old Deepak do we Oprah lol
Then she says on her show recently--I can teach all you Christians out there how to be better Christians lol
Its all about Ratings and getting the--Christias to watch her new Network!!
Now dont get me wrong--I have watched her quite a bit in the last few Yrs--but one thing is clear--Oprah worships--Oprah lol
She fires her staff---wella sone ex producer of her says--shes NOT easy to work for at all!!
She has always been very clear in her beliefs--ALL roads lead to heaven--or whatever--not just one--namely--Jesus Christ!!
So she pulled an Obama on us by suddenly embracing Christianity--hmm Obama I just saw a Utube video whre you were very clear many tiems over --about your muslim Roots and your love for the HOly Koran but --hmm--embracing Christianity might get you soem more votes--just as it will get Oprah some new viwers!!
Nothing new here Oprah!!

4 NEW BABIES BORN ON THE FARM LAST NIGHT

Actually they were born pretty close to Dan gettig home rom work because the Mama was still wet he said!!
She also didint go away and have them somewhere else on the farm--usally cats do have them away to protect the babies--for about 6 weeks--this time she had them in the home Daniel built for them--right off the back Porch!!
We will name one April--for the month se was born--oh--hopefully they are not all male lol
Then we will name another one Toby--Dans Favorite Christian Artist is Toby Mac so we will name one male after him!!
Havent chosen the other 2 names yet!!
I ownt be back on the farm until the first 2 weeks in JUly--but by then they will be out and about playing so that will be fun--oh we have 14 cats now total--12 outdoor--2 indoor!!
But in the Spring the Dominant Male cats goa way from the farm to play and Prey lol--last Yr we had 2 cats leave and they never came back--just the way the outdoor cats are!!
We hope we wont lose any of the new ones--depends on how healthy they all are!!

My Dear Friend Janet---her Husband is now soon to be released--from this eartly tent---to be with The Lord!!
59--Last Stage lUng Cancer-Never smoked a day in his life--married to Janet almost 34 Yrs--2 children!!
I had to chuckle--I was in their wedding---One of there Candleighters--as i was walking up the aisle I stumbled over my gown with a lit candle in my hand--I caught myself just in time lol
For over a Yr we have Prayed for the Lord to heal him--I am one who still beleves Jesus heals today--but i also have to beleive--even though we grieve there IS a higher purpose--in all this!!
I think we are not to question Gods ways--But of course as mere mortals we do dont we??
Somneone said after her young daughter died of Leukemia--as she began to ask God why--she flet the Lord speak to her heart--if i answered your whys--there would simply be more whys after that---so she felt that why he didnt answer her question as to why Gabriella died at such a young age!!
And she said something Ill never forget--Gabriella is not in our past--she is in our future--because as believers we know we will see our loved ones who died--in the faith--Again!! WE have that hope and Assurance!!
Death is not our enemy--in fact it was defeated at the cross--for the beleiver --i laways say--we simply --step over!!
THis is a dress Rehearsel for Heaven I say--I love Carrie Underwoods song--For the beleiver--this is our-Temperary Home--its not where i belong!!
Are we heartbroken at losing a Dear Precious Man--in the prime of his life--Yes we are--My precious Friend is staying strong--Bu i told her in an e-mail 2 things--YOU need to release him--and then YOU need to Allow yourself time to grieve!!
Some Things happen in his life that we are not to question---i guess this is one of them!!
